In 2011, I was contracted by the New Brunswick Nurses Union to set up and manage social media channels, maintain the website, and provide graphic design services as needed. The goal set out before me was to foster member engagement social media channels while maintaining NBNU’s online reputation with the general public, provincial government and other organizations. I set up Google Analytics to measure website traffic and Sprout Social to measure engagement on social media channels. I prepared monthly reports on effectiveness of various posts and content. During the contract, member engagement with website increased over 50%.
